During Dying Matters Awareness Week this year, we will be sharing how the services we offer at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity have been tailored to support different communities and cultures, so be sure to keep an eye on our social media to read more about this.
We’ll be out and about in our local community, you can see us at the following free events:

We will also have information available in our Bistro, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, Shelford Bottom regarding support available to you from our charity, as well as the following events:
Thursday 8th May, 11am – 1.30pm “Flapjacks & Feedback” in The Bistro
Join us in our Bistro for a tasty flapjack, and the chance to share your thoughts to help us enhance the care we provide. Patient and family experience of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity can help us strive for future patients and their families
Friday 9th May 10am – 12pm Grief Kind Space session in The Bistro
Here you will find support from trained professionals via our partnership with Sue Ryder, and hear more about support available to anyone who has experienced any kind of loss at any time.
There are of course many differences in the ways that cultures and faiths approach and mark death and dying. But at their core, feelings about dying, and our experiences of grief, are universal emotions that we all share, no matter who we are or where we live.
We hope to see you at one of our events during this special week.
